We have been part of the Dancers Burlington family since 2004, with both of our girls starting dance at the age of 3. With our oldest daughter graduating this year, it is remarkable to look back on the past 15 years and see the positive impact the teachers and environment at Dancers has made on our family.

When our girls first joined the competitive program, our hope was to have them become involved with something they loved, and to be surrounded by people who would support and encourage them to continually grow and find the best within themselves.  Dancers Burlington has been able to provide that, and so much more.

The faculty provides high quality technical training and leading choreography, resulting in team and studio successes at competitions, workshops and intensives, too numerous to count. Our daughters have had the opportunity to travel throughout the United States and Europe and had the privilege of meeting and working with several renowned choreographers along the way.

The DB faculty cultivates a safe, caring and fun environment that promotes self-esteem, self-efficacy and positive self-image. Through their experience at Dancers, our girls have gained invaluable life skills. They have learned what it takes to be a good leader, a supportive teammate, and the importance of dedication and commitment when setting and achieving goals. The program at Dancers has instilled a sense of self-discipline, adaptability and an incredible work ethic that has helped them to excel in all areas of their lives and will continue to serve them well into the future.

In addition to the skills and abilities our girls have developed, even more important are the relationships they have fostered with their teammates and teachers. The studio is truly a second home to our daughters. Miss Stacey, Miss Alison and Miss Kristen are much more than teachers and coaches. They are strong role models and mentors who encourage and inspire every one of their dancers to continuously strive for greatness, to reach their full potential and to see the best within themselves. Stacey affirms the belief that children are apt to live up to the expectations that are set before them. She empowers her students by giving them the opportunity to make decisions, solve problems and face challenges. By placing her confidence in their ability, she finds a way to bring out the very best in every one of her dancers.

We are truly grateful that Dancers Burlington has played such a significant role in enriching our daughters’ lives.  We have had the privilege of watching our girls grow and develop not only into beautifully trained dancers, but into strong, confident and self-assured young women.  They have been surrounded by an incredible faculty, staff and teammates, and the special bond and memories they have created, has been an amazing gift that they will carry with them throughout their lives.

Olivia DiPaolo, member of Dancers Burlington since 2006.

I have been a member of the Dancers Burlington family since the age of 3.  My parents enrolled me in a baby ballet class and, let me tell you, this was the start of an inspiring journey.  Growing up I lacked confidence and I let my shyness define me. I allowed this to stop me from going after the many incredible things that life has to offer.

With the support of the Dancers faculty, I began to jump leaps and bounds. I was trying new things, moving far out of my comfort zone and, most importantly, increasing my confidence and self-esteem. This is because my dance teachers never gave up on me. They have given me so many opportunities to grow and prove to myself and others how strong I really am. Not only does Dancers provide excellent training but they do it in a positive and encouraging environment. The studio is also filled with a tremendous group of people who make my time here the best it can possibly be.

I plan to continue to dance until I graduate from high school. I have made long-lasting friendships with my entire team whom I will miss tremendously when my time at Dancers comes to an end. Dancers has taught me the true meaning of commitment, work ethic, time management, self-confidence and discipline. Here at the studio we are not just a team, we are a family. I am beyond proud to call this my second home.  Not only have I grown as a dancer here at Dancers Burlington but I have grown as a person which will benefit me through the rest of my life.

A life time’s worth of “thank you” and “appreciation” towards my Dancers family could not be enough for all they have done to make me who I am today.

I love every moment of working with this team. Even before I walk into the studio, I know that the dancers are well-trained, have an excellent work ethic and are open to try anything I can dream of! I have tremendous respect for Stacey and her incredible staff. They instill a love of dance and provide a safe place for dancers to grow and explore. The staff challenges and supports each member of the team.  These young artists exemplify determination, incredible talent and teamwork. DB is one of my favorite places to teach and create.
