Aly has always had a love and passion for dance. At the age of five she began taking classes under the direction of the faculty at Dancers Burlington. As a member of their award winning competitive team for 12 years, she has received extensive training in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Acrojazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Pointe and Contemporary. Aly was previously a member of the Team Canada Dance Group, and travelled to both Germany and South Africa in 2017 and 2019. In 2020, Aly was named the senior Nexstar Brand Ambassador and represented the American dance company, Star Dance Alliance. In addition, Aly was recently offered the opportunity to train under the direction of Chloe & Maud Arnold with the pre-professional tap company, Sole Talk Youth. This past year, Aly was accepted to Marinda Davis’ prestigious dance intensive where she trained as a dancer and storyteller. Aly has accepted into Ryerson’s Early Childhood Education program but has chosen to defer for a year and is incredibly excited to be back for the 2021-2022 season.
