My daughter has been dancing with the Dancers Burlington competitive dance team for the past five years.  The DB Faculty not only focuses on the art and discipline of dance but the instructors make a genuine and conscious effort to instill values, morals and self-worth in each dancer. They truly believe that all dancers should have every opportunity to become strong, independent and confident young women and men.  Pursuing dance as a career is my daughters dream and the DB faculty are always encouraging her, finding ways for her to gain experience, to improve and to expand her dance techniques to the next level.

Dancers Burlington is made up of an exceptional team of instructors and staff that have an honest, invested interest in each dancer and I am forever grateful to everyone at Dancers who has cared for, watched over and loved my daughter as their own.  This studio is my daughter’s second home, her second family and I wouldn’t want it any other way.

Years ago, when we signed our daughter up for a dance class, we imagined tutus, recitals and tap shoes. We had no idea that this studio, it’s faculty and fellow students, and the art of dance would become an integral part of who our daughter would become. She became an athlete, performer, student, teacher, and friend. Dance has taught our daughter how to win with humility and lose with grace. She’s learned that prioritizing, persevering and practicing is what makes a person successful. It has instilled in her both a love of sport and a tireless commitment to her team. As a teacher myself, I am inspired by our daughter’s teachers’ knowledge of their learners as each dancer’s unique talents are showcased and celebrated on the stage, while in the safe and supportive environment of the studio students are challenged to step outside of their comfort zone. As a parent, watching our daughter dance has made us cry countless tears with smiles on our faces, and pure joy and pride in our hearts. We will never regret signing our daughter up for that first dance class at Dancers Burlington.

Dancers Burlington.  More than just a “dance studio”

It’s a family we are so proud to be a part of.  We started out like so many parents, enrolling our girls in everything from soccer to swimming, golf and dance. We decided to wait and see where their little hearts would lead them.   Coming from a sporting background, this whole dance world was so foreign to us but we are so thankful that they landed where they did.  Our girls have been dancing at DB for more almost 10 years (competitively for the past 6).   We are continually impressed with the dedication, the passion and the love that Stacey and her team have for all of these kids.   The tireless hours these amazing people spend teaching our kids choreography, respect, hard work, perseverance, humility, is so much more than we ever bargained for.  It’s so much more than just “dance”, although that part is pretty amazing too!
